Poland took their second wictory in the U19 WFC after a super tight game against Russia. In the dying minutes of the game the only (!) goal in the game was scored.

The spectators and viewers probably raised their eyebrows at the result of the game – 1-0 – when Poland played against Russia during the second day in the U19 WFC in IFU Arena in Uppsala.

The teams both created chances during the game, but the goalkeepers kept their clean sheet and made sure the result stayed at 0-0 in the first and second period.

But when Russia played in boxplay with less than five minutes left of the game, Poland moved forward. Katarzyna Slonina got a pass from Dominika Buczek and nicely shot 1-0 low in the corner.

Russia pushed forward after that and had a dangerous shot just above the goal. But Poland had a tight defence and was very happy when the game was over.

The players of the game were rewarded Russia´s Diana Buevskaya and Polands Zuzanna Pudzisz.
