The Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships 2020 has been moved to 2021 and will be played in Uppsala. Uppsala is the capital of  Uppsala County and the fourth-largest city in Sweden, and is located 71 km (44 mi) north of the capital Stockholm. Since 1164, Uppsala has been the ecclesiastical centre of Sweden, being the seat of the Archbishop of the Church of Sweden, and is home to Scandinavia’s largest cathedral – Uppsala Cathedral. Founded in 1477, Uppsala University is the oldest centre of higher education in Scandinavia, and is where the Celsius scale for temperature was invented.

Uppsala is home to some of the best Floorball clubs in the world, including Storvreta IBK, two-time winner of the IFF Champions Cup.
